Bartlesville High is still winding through the final few days of June offseason activities until the mandated OSSAA dead period begins next week.

Last week, Bruin head baseball coach Cody Price got a chance to guide Brenden Asher and Brett Eaves at the Oklahoma State Games in Enid. That was part of a busy two-week span for Price, as he was able to get his family to Omaha to watch former Bruin pitcher Jakob Hall throw in the College World Series.

This was Bartlesville’s second pitcher to get to Omaha in the past 10 seasons.

Price says Hall’s journey to college baseball’s biggest stage is a sign to every current or future Bruin that playing in Bartlesville can get them anywhere.

On a personal level, Price says he and the Bartlesville baseball program enjoyed watching Hall throughout the regular season and postseason play.

Hall was a sophomore with the Golden Eagles. He will have two years of college eligibility remaining.
