One high school football game will be on the airwaves on Thursday night, while we’re only one day away from a handful of games on Friday night across the area, as Zero Week is here.

Perhaps the biggest matchup statewide all this week will take place tonight at the University of Tulsa. Owasso will take on Bixby in the second annual Battle of the Burbs.

Last year Bixby started to run away with the game in the second half. The Spartans would beat Owasso 49-14 in the August matchup. That game would be a preview of the 6A-I state title, as Bixby would beat Owasso 69-6 in the championship game in December for the Spartans first 6A-I championship.

A 7:30 kick on Thursday night, we will carry the Owasso broadcast on 100.1 – KYFM.
