Tulsa, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State football will all kick off this week – in that order.

TU starts on Thursday night, as the Golden Hurricane faces Arkansas Pine Bluff at home. Meanwhile OU has an early game Saturday at 11:00 against Arkansas State. Oklahoma State hosts Central Arkansas at 6:00 on Saturday night.

The Pokes will be breaking in some new players this fall with several additions via the transfer portal. That is one of the reasons why head coach Mike Gundy says they’ll play more players than usual in the Cowboys opener.

Gundy says he owes it to transfers into the program, and players who have stuck with the program, to all have a chance to play.
