OU Dominates - OK-State Squeaks By

College football from the weekend:

Oklahoma looked a little more like Oklahoma. The Sooners obliterated Arkansas State in Brent Venable’s sophomore debut. OU over the Red Wolves 73-0. The game was over almost as soon as it started. It was a complete performance on both sides of the ball.

Venables talks about the victory. 

Sooners at home against SMU on Saturday evening at 5:00 for game two of the season on 100.1 - KYFM.

Meanwhile in Stillwater Oklahoma State had its struggles against Central Arkansas. Cowboys eventually scored a couple late touchdowns to take the doubt out of the contests. OK-State won 27-13 over the Bears.

Head coach Mike Gundy talks about the difference between the Cowboy offense early and late in the game. 

Pokes played three quarterbacks exactly four drives in the contest.

OK-State will be at Arizona State at 9:30 late on Saturday night for game No. 2 in Tempe in the desert on KWON - AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1.
