The Osage County Free Fair starts up this Thursday and a fun time is sure to be had by all throughout the weekend at the Osage County Fairgrounds in Pawhuska.

There will be free carnival rides available for the public all three days and free concerts will take place on Friday and Saturday night. Thomas Martinez will perform on Friday and Luke Christenson is the main headliner on Saturday evening.

Over the course of the weekend, there will be a dog show turtle race, car show, BBQ cookoff and livestock show. Fair Board President Karen Miller talks about what fair-goers can expect.

“They will have a ton of fun. There is a lot to see and they can see it for free. It’s a small country fair with friendly people all about. We want to preserve that hometown feeling as you look at the preserves.”

Bartlesville Radio will be broadcasting live from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday morning from the Osage County Fairgrounds.
