On Tuesday morning, the Osage County Health Department hosted a community partner forum in an effort to combat the rise of drug use across Osage County. Four years ago, the county ranked 22nd out of 77 counties in the state when dealing with drug related illnesses. That has now grown to 12. Public Information Officer with the OSDH said methamphetamine is the number one overdose killer and fentanyl deaths are also on the rise. Haywood talked about what it is going to take to make these statistics better.

Haywood says the key to fixing the problems is getting all of the agencies across Osage County on the same page moving forward.

Members of the Osage Nation Counseling Center, Kay County Health Department, Grand Mental Health Facility were among several in attendance at Tuesday's event.
