It is Monday, which means it’s time for the Patriot Family of Autos Athlete of the week. Following the theme of the last two athletes, we have another softball player, Senior Faith Branstetter of Nowata.

Branstetter has played softball over the entire course of her life and was a huge player for the Lady Ironmen during her high school tenure. For the Branstetter and Ironmen, their season came to an end back on September 21st when they lost in regionals to Preston and Commerce.

Branstetter reflects on her final year of softball.

Branstetter says her family were huge supporters of her athletic career and were key cogs in helping her develop the love she currently has for softball. She talks about her family.

Branstetter had multiple opportunities to continue her softball career at the collegiate level but decided she wants to focus on her studies. She talks about her goals for college.

She plans to apply to the University of Oklahoma but is also giving Texas A&M a look, but says she is leaning towards staying in her home state and going to OU. Congrats to Faith Branstetter, our Patriot Athlete of the Week.
