The Green Country Republican Women's Club hosted a special presentation on the border crisis and how it affects Oklahoma and the nation on Wednesday at Hillcrest Country Club.

 

Bradley Ward with Americans for Prosperity was one of the presenters who had spent a lot of time at the border near Yuma, Arizona.  Ward said that only 30 percent who cross our southern border are actually from Mexico.

 

According to statistics from Homeland Securiy, the other 70 percent of illegal border crossers came from Venesuala, South and Central America, China, Russia, India and the Middle East. Last year, 151 persons on the terrorist watch list were stopped trying to cross the US southern border illegally.

 

Ward's presentation partner, Michael Morrison, revealed some shocking information on fentanyl, a drug whose dosage is about the size of three grains of sand.
