Oklahoma men’s basketball dropped out of the undefeated ranks on Wednesday evening, as North Carolina handed the Sooners their first loss of the year.

OU fell to the Tar Heels, 81-69. Sooners never led during the wire-to-wire UNC win in the Jumpman Invitational in Charlotte.

Otega Oweh had 23 points in the defeat.

The Sooner defeat leaves only Houston, James Madison and Ole Miss as undefeated teams left in the country. Oklahoma next hosts Central Arkansas on Dec. 28.
