Three Bartlesville Junior High Golfers Excel

It looks like Bartlesville Junior High golf is in good shape for the upcoming season, and there should be a bright future for Lady Bruin golf at the high school level over the next several years, as well.
A trio of Bartlesville middle school golfers made it through the first qualifier of the Drive, Chip and Putt competition earlier this summer.
All will have a chance to compete in Frisco, Texas in late-September for the next round. Eventually the national qualifiers will make it to Augusta National in the spring of 2025.
Incoming eighth-graders Aisley Kiersey and Ava Parham along with incoming seventh-grader Kora Haberstroh all finished in the top-three of their respective age divisions.
Kiersey describes what they did during the competition.
Kiersey finished second in the 14-15 age division.
Haberstroh talks about her thoughts when she was able to qualify for the next round.
Haberstroh also finished 2nd in the 12-13 age group.
Meanwhile Parham finished third, she will be a first alternate in late-September. Parham talks about what it was like to play in the event.
All three were a part of the Bartlesville Junior High golf team that finished second in the Frontier Valley Conference this past spring.
Parham says golf can be a tough sport.
At the Regional Qualifier in Frisco the first-place winner will get to go to the Masters in the spring.
All three golfers attend Central Middle School.
