New Monument Unveiled Monday at White Rose Cemetery

A new monument was dedicated this Memorial Day at White Rose Cemetery in Bartlesville.
The black granite memorial was unveiled by Mayor Jim Curd in front of the gazebo, which lists Washington County soldiers, sailors and airmen who died in World War I and World War II, but whose bodies were never recovered.
Boy Scout Troop 6 also placed American flags at all the veteran's graves honoring their sacrifices.
A Memorial Day ceremony has been held at White Rose Cemetery for more than a century.
