Northeast Oklahoma was affected by drenching overnight rains. Parts of Nowata County saw more than two and a half inches of rain and Emergency Manager Laurie Summers says she is unable to get out of her driveway and inspect the roads, but she said people should know what to avoid after previous storms.

Summers said it is important to use caution when driving through high waters.

Because of the high water, Rd. 410 south of Highway 60 and EW 24 at the three low water crossings remain closed.
