The Washington County Commissioners honored an area basketball team, talked rain and approved agreements at their regular Monday-meeting in downtown Bartlesville.

First on the agenda, a proclamation honoring the Oklahoma Wesleyan Men's basketball team, which played for an NAIA national championship earlier in 2025.

Commissioner Mike Dunlap read a proclimation talking about the team, and head coach Donnie Bostwick's, efforts this year.

In other news, during the commissioners reports, rain and washed out roads were the main topic of conversation. Mitch Antle asked that the public be patient with the county as they deal with a myriad of issues that arise during periods of heavy rain.
