A Bartlesville man is facing a misdemeanor charge after allegedly assaulting someone.

34-year-old Joseph Naylor was charged on Thursday with domestic abuse by assault and battery.

According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, on June 8, Naylor allegedly got into an altercation with the victim and shoved them into a table, breaking the table and knocking over a lamp.

The victim allegedly had redness around the collarbone area and a ripped scab on the victim's elbow.

Naylor has previous felony convictions in 2017 and 2021 for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and was previously charged with domestic abuse in Jan. 2025.

Naylor will appear in court again on July 9 at 2:30 p.m. His bond is set at $25,000.
