Vibrant Programming Planned for Westside Community Center

Following a very successful Juneteenth Celebration at Bartlesville's Westide Community Center, the rejuvenated programming at the center is in full swing for the summer.
Shavon Annette, who is the executive director of Westside Community Center, says a new social event for singles will begin on Tuesday, July 1 — "Movie, Mocktails and Mingle." She says that is planned to be a weekly event throughout the summer.
Also, for seniors in the Bartlesville Area, Shavon says a new series will also begin, with "Tech Savvy Seniors," every Wednesday at noon.
Westside Community Center Programs
- Movie, Mocktail, & Mingle - come mix with other singles in the Bartlesville area on Tuesday July 1 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
- Tech Savvy Seniors - join every Wednesday at noon to boost your tech skills with free, hands-on courses for all levels.
- Money Magic Workshop - Practical tools to help you grow, build and better manage your finances. July 24 at 5:45 p.m.
- Taste of Community: Boricua Bites - Saturday, Aug. 9, to celebrate the rich, soulful flavors of Puerto Rican culture—and get inspired to visit the island! Participants will make homemade Empanidillas, enjoys delicious tostones, and take home fresh sofrito!
- Historic Black Town Bus Tour – registration is open
- Honey Springs Battlefield Reenactment Trip – registration is open
