The face of country living starts with a BIG chocolate lab. With a clean bill of excellence in almost everything that has to do with a dog down to the toes, a lab can be used for jsut about anything even without a farm.

No cattle? You're in luck! Labs can also rangle kids. Or be a lap dog, anything goes when you have a masters degree in "good dog".

Bijou Smith, med tech at the Washington County SPCA, introduces a young gal who's on her way to getting her masters degree.

Smith says that Darcy is in her teenage phase, so she does talk back from time to time. Smith als says that Darcy is cat friendly, only wanting to play and be friends with them. Smith things that Darcy would make a good hunting, farm, or family dog.

The WSPCA will be having their Purr and Pour cat cafe event Saturday, July 19th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can learn more about the event at bartlesvilleradio.com or call the WSPCA at 918-336-1577.
