Bartlesville Public Schools Foundation to Host State of the Schools Event August 6

Tom Davis
The Bartlesville Public Schools Foundation will host its annual State of the Schools event on Wednesday, August 6, at the Bartlesville High School Commons, marking the community’s official kickoff to the 2025–2026 school year.
Foundation CEO Blair Ellis says the event offers a chance for all community members—whether they have students in the district or not—to hear directly from Superintendent Chuck McCauley, who will give an update on the past year and share plans for the year ahead.
State of the Schools also serves as the foundation’s largest fundraiser, supporting programs like teacher grants and Bruins on the Run. The event features an online auction with unique Bruin-themed experiences, including access to the school’s aviation flight simulators and a stay at a North Carolina beach house donated by a retired teacher.
Chef Steven Nook, now executive chef for the district's Child Nutrition program, will provide the meal for the event.
Tickets and sponsorships are available now at bpsfoundation.org.
