Storms Bring Much-Needed Drought Relief

Last night’s storms went a long way to alleviate drought conditions across the listening area.

Bartlesville officially received just over 3 inches of rain at the airport, with rain gauges on the southeast side of the city recording 3 ½ inches.

According to the Oklahoma Mesonet, gauges in the listening area recorded anywhere between 0.85 inches of rain in Talala to 3.1 inches of rain in Wynona.

Wynona: 3.1”

Copan: 3”

Foraker: 2.25”

Burbank: 2.16”

Nowata: 1.96”

Skiatook: 1.28”

Talala: 0.85”
