The Whiskey Poet Society will bring its blend of traditional country and red dirt music to Osage Casino Bartlesville on Friday, June 26, at 9 p.m. The group, formed in 2012 by Mark Chamberlain and a group of talented musicians, has built a following by staying true to their roots while creating original music that connects with fans across Oklahoma and beyond.

The band’s latest single, “We Need Rain,” produced by Mikey Schaper of Eliza Creek Studios, showcases their evolving sound and appeal beyond the rodeo scene. Whiskey Poet Society released their debut album A Room with A Brew in 2013, followed by projects produced with Oklahoma music legend Mike McClure in 2020 and 2021. The group has shared stages with artists including Jason Boland, Reckless Kelly, Cody Canada, Stoney LaRue, Mike McClure, Bart Crow, and others, while continuing to perform at casinos, festivals, rodeos, and events throughout Oklahoma and Kansas. Their song “Grand Lake” even received national attention after airing during Bassmasters opening day coverage.
