The Nowata County Commissioners tabled their motion to intervene on the Northeast Oklahoma Transmission Enhancement Project from American Electric Power (AEP) during a regular meeting Monday morning.

Assistant District Attorney Ashley Kane submitted a response to the board advising against intervening on the matter. County Clerk Kay Spurgeon read the response.

The commissioners have already approved a motion opposing the project.

The Nowata County Commissioners meet every Monday morning at 9 a.m. at the Nowata County Annex Meeting Room, located at 228 N. Maple St.
