Nowata Co. Tables NEOTEP Intervene Motion

The Nowata County Commissioners held a regular meeting Monday morning at the Nowata County Annex.
The commissioners tabled a motion to intervene on the Northeast Oklahoma Transmission Enhancement Project (NEOTEP). Sample documents to send to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission were presented to the board, however no formal letter was presented.
The commissioners will review a letter and possibly vote on the item in next week's meeting.
Assistant District Attorney Ashley Kane sent a letter to the board advising against intervening on the project.
The Nowata County Commissioners meet every Monday morning at 9 a.m. at the Nowata County Annex Meeting Room, located at 228 N. Maple St.
