Dewey Police Name New School Resource Officer

The Dewey Police Department and Dewey Public Schools have officially renewed their School Resource Officer contract, appointing Officer Tab LeMaster to the position. The agreement, finalized on August 3, places LeMaster, a member of the local police force since 2023, in a vital role serving the district's students and staff. Police Chief Jimmy Gray expressed gratitude to the school board and the broader community for their ongoing support, noting that Officer LeMaster is eager to take on this important responsibility and will be an excellent daily resource for Dewey Public Schools.
