The Bartlesville Lady Bruin's pummeled Tulsa Central on Monday night at Bruin Fieldhouse 61-11. BHS improves to 2-1 on the year, and will now face Owasso in round two of the Oakley Lady Bruin Holiday Classic on Tuesday night in the winners bracket. 

BHS shut out the Lady Braves in the first quarter 24-0, and back-ups played a lot of minutes in the final three quarters for the Lady Bruins. 

The win marks only the third game for Bartlesville since practice began on Oct. 1. That is three games in 90 days. The win also starts a winning streak for BHS, after the Lady Bruins won their last game at Union 47-44, before the holidays. 

Haley Tucker led all scorers with 15. Freshman Erin Shoemaker excelled off the bench, scoring four, while Emily Hicks added six and Destiny Harris had six as well. 

Owasso thumped Norman 58-27 in game one of the tournament to advance to the winners bracket earlier in the day. The Lady Rams are 4-3 coming into the game.
