Washington County Emergency Mgmt is Ready
Diane Coston
Residents of Oklahoma have been feeling a new sensation lately. The U. S. Geological Survey recorded a 3.6 magnitude earthquake early Tuesday morning near Medford in north-central Oklahoma. No earthquakes have been reported in the listening area but Washington County Emergency Management Director Kary Cox said that regular employees and volunteers are ready for any disaster in the area.
With tornado season on the way, it's good to know that the emergency crews have a plan in place.
