Oklahoma Wesleyan University Lady Eagles basketball team set a new school record Saturday afternoon for most 3's made in a single game.  OKWU made 22 3-pointers in route of York College 112-67.  The Lady Eagles started the game hot making 14 of 24 3-pointers to take a 62-24 lead at halftime.  OKWU continued to shoot the ball well making eight 3-pointers to get a home victory.  As a team, OKWU went 22 for 43 from the 3-point line for 51 percent.  Overall, the Lady Eagles shot 48 percent and out rebounded York 54-35.  Nichole Tate led OKWU with 16 points, followed by Kayla Morgan 14 points.  Kori Dyer and Courtney Robinson each finished with 12 points while Yessenia Hernandez added 10 points.

In the mens game, the Eagles tried to keep the game close, but too much size for York College and a full court press bothered OKWU as the Panthers won 81-62.  York led 32-25 at halftime and outscored OKWU 49-37 in the second half to secure the win.  York College shot 51 percent from the field while the Eagles shot 35 percent.  Brady Chastain led the Eagles with a game high 21 points while Colton Miller added 12 points.  Freshman CJ Ross finished with 11 points and game high 13 rebounds.  York was led by Cameron Coleman with 18 points.

Both the Eagles and Lady Eagles will conclude the regular season next Friday at Central Baptist and Saturday at College of the Ozarks.
