Oklahoma state legislators are more than one third of the way through the current session and fixing the $611 million budget deficit is challenging.  Senator John Ford, representing Washington, Nowata and Rogers Counties said each agency comes before the Senate to outline their budget requests.

Ford said that revenue sources are limited but revenue demands  are not.and the job of legislators is to prioritize where cuts and extra dollars will go.
