With cost savings and efficiency in mind, the Bartlesville City Council has contracted with the Richard Kane YMCA to manage the city pools. Lisa Beeman, interim Parks Supervisor, said that YMCA Executive Director, Robert Phillips has a lot of pool management experience.

Under YMCA management, more programs are a strong possibility at Frontier and Sooner Pools this summer.  The Splash Pad at Sooner Park reopens this Saturday, May 2nd.
