OKWU Lady Eagles Playing In NCCAA World Series

Oklahoma Wesleyan University Lady Eagles softball team received an at-large berth to qualify in a 9-team NCCAA Softball World Series at Botetourt, Virginia.  OKWU is seeded 9th in the tournament and will take on 8th seed Mississippi State Wednesday at Noon.  The winner will face top seed Judson University Wednesday afternoon at 4:30.  The loser will play Wednesday evening at 6:30.  The tournament is scheduled for May 13th-15th.

Five of the nine teams are NCAA Division II programs while the remaining teams are NAIA programs.  Currently, the Lady Eagles are 31-26 this season.
