The Bartlesville School Board announced Monday that the Central Middle School was awarded the Oklahoma Education Technology Trust (OETT) grant for $60,000.

Central was one of 22 schools awarded the OETT grant this year. They plan to use the grant to purchase IPAD minis for the students and adapters that will allow students to share their work on screens and projectors.

“We felt this was very important because technology is increasing everyday in the classroom.” Central Middle School principal Ryan Huff said. “Whenever students come up from elementary school to Central, that's all they know.”

Central faculty and staff are excited to give students access to this technology and they hope that it will help students learn.
