Double Traffic Fatality Near South Coffeyville

Two people are dead after an accident 4 miles south of South Coffeyville Friday morning.  The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports 50 year-old Karen Jo Reagan-Andersobn of Tulsa was northbound on U.S.  169 at County Road 5 in Nowata County.  Her car crossed the center line and hit a pickup driven by 62 year-old Michael E. Trotnic of Parsons, KS head-on.  

Reagan-Anderson died at the scene as a result of internal and external injuries.  Her body was pinned in her vehicle for 2 hours 30 minutes.  Reagan-Anderson's remains were taken to the Tulsa Medical Examiner's office.  Trotnic also died as aresult of his injuries.  It took 3 hours 9 minutes for the South Coffeyville Fire Department to get his body out of his vehicle.  Trotnic's remains were also transported to the Medical Examiner's Office in Tulsa.
