Barnsdall Looking to Improve to 4-0

Barnsdall advanced to 3-0 after a wild ending that resulted in a win last week against Summit Christian Academy. The Panthers blocked a field goal, but an inadvertent whistle caused the down to be replayed. SCA decided to go for it on fourth down and scored a touchdown.

Barnsdall was up 42-34 before the final play when SCA completed a Hail Mary pass but failed on the two-point conversion. Panthers won 42-40.

This week, Barnsdall plays another good team on the road in the Wesleyan Christian Mustangs.

In order for the Panthers to improve 4-0, Panthers Head Coach Kylee Sweeney says they have to be able to contain the quarterback.

Wesleyan Christian is 1-1 on the year. Kickoff is schedule for 7 p.m. Friday.
