Bartlesville High baseball has won six in a row, and the Bruins picked up their second district win in blowout fashion on Tuesday night.

Bartlesville pummeled Union 9-0 on the road to sweep the two-game district series.

Sophomore Jakob Hall was the standout on the mound. Hall went the complete game seven innings, gave up only three hits and struck out seven. All three of the base knocks for Union were singles. Hall did not walk a single Redskin batter throughout the contest. He picked up his second win on the bump this season.

The Bruins scored all nine of their runs in the first three innings, as Bartlesville scored three runs apiece in the first, second and third frames. Braden Winters had the best day at the plate. He was 2-4 with two doubles, two RBIs and a run scored.

Bartlesville is back to .500 on the year at 7-7, and now stands at 2-4 in district play after the sweep. BHS has already surpassed its district win total from a season ago with the victory.

There is no rest for the baseball Bruins, as Bartlesville will play four games in three days starting on Thursday while hosting its Bruin Classic.

We will have game one of the tournament on the radio on Thursday evening at 5:30 PM vs. Park Hill South. The game will be broadcasted on KWON - AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
