Bartlesville Hoops Playoff Assignments
The high school basketball 6A Regional Brackets were released on Thursday afternoon by the OSSAA, and both BHS teams will have tough matchups in the first round.
The Lady Bruins travel to Union to face the No. 1 seed Union in the first round on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 8:00 PM.
The Bruin guys will be in Norman North, with a first-round game against Midwest City. Bartlesville avoided being a 4-seed in its regional, likely because of its overtime win over Sand Springs this past friday.
BHS has played the Bombers twice already this year, losing both in tournament play.
MWC owns a 57-51 win over BHS on Jan. 8 at Bruin Field House and a 64-47 win on Jan. 22 at Deer Creek's tournament. The boy’s game tips off at 6:00 on Friday, Feb. 26.
Both those Bartlesville first-round games will be single elimination, have to win the first one in order to move on to the Regional title round and Area the next weekend.
