Bartlesville Swimming 2nd in Regionals

 

Both the Bartlesville swim teams had a good weekend at the East-side 6A Regional, as many Lady Bruins and Bruins qualified for state, which is coming up on Feb. 15-16. 

Jenks again had Bartlesville’s number, with both the Trojan teams winning the event, and both Bartlesville teams finishing second. The Lady Bruins were again especially close to knocking off Jenks, they lost 376.5-358, but couldn’t quite catch the Lady Trojans.

Whether or not BHS can get Jenks in state later this month, will come down to depth. Bruin head swim coach Chad Englehart talks about what Bartlesville needs.

6A State will be in Edmond. The full number of BHS swimmers that qualified for the event will be available later this week.
