Basketball Just Around the Corner

 

High school basketball will start for some of the smaller schools across the state this week, while most clubs across the state will still have a week or two longer until regular season action begins.

Copan will have one of the first double-headers of the season across Osage, Washington and Nowata counties.

The Hornets are on the road at Shidler on Friday night. The contest will be the first for former head coach Kevin Foreman back in the saddle as head man once again. Foreman re-took the job this past offseason after one year of retirement.

You can hear from coach Foreman and Christy Bryan, the Copan girls coach, during our Coach’s Breakfast broadcast.

We will have area boys and girls coaches on hand Saturday morning beginning just after 7:00 on KWON and KWONTV.com.

We will be live from BobbyQ previewing high school hoops this weekend.

Woodland will travel to Tonkowa and Oklahoma Union goes to Preston on Friday night, as well
