Bartlesville volleyball is off until Tuesday, but the Lady Bruin should be excited about the weekend they had at home.

Bartlesville had a fantastic weekend at the Bruin Invitational, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. The Lady Bruins snapped a 12-match losing streak on Friday with a blowout victory against Putnam City (3-0). Bartlesville would then finish the tournament winning three of their last four, with victories over Putnam City (3-0), Ponca City (3-0) and Booker T. Washington (3-1).

Bartlesville head volleyball coach Tom Williams says it is just a matter of confidence for his club, he wants his girls staying aggressive.

There is only about two weeks left in the regular season for 6A volleyball, as it will wrap up on Oct. 4, before Regionals on Oct. 9.
