Big Week for Bruin Hoops

Bartlesville High basketball has its final week without a game until Christmas Break. The Bruins have a final tune up on Saturday in Texarkana before regular season action begins on Tuesday, Dec. 7.

The game in Texarkana will be another like this past Friday’s when the Bruins made statewide headlines with a victory over Lake Highlands, Texas in the Duncanville Hoopsfest.

The Bruins won their matchup with the out-of-state club, 73-66.

David Castillo led the way with 28 points, he scorched from beyond the arc with 6-8 three-point shooting. Bartlesville also got 20 points from Aadi Ayyappan.

Ayyappan says the biggest strength of this team will be their ability to shoot.

In addition to a trip to Texarkana on Saturday, the Bruins will also take part in a Hype-Night on Tuesday from Bruin Field House. They will also have their annual Tip-Off Luncheon hosted by the Bartlesville Sports Commission at Hillcrest Country Club on Wednesday.

You can contact the Sports Commission for info on available seats and tables
