It was a split night in the final home doubleheader of the season for Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball. The Lady Eagles got trounced while the men hung on at the buzzer to beat Bethel.

The Lady Eagles started off strong with an 18-16 lead after the first quarter. However, in the second quarter the Lady Threshers took off on a 17-6 run to take the lead. Ashley Cook was the most reliable source of offense for OKWU with eight first half points.

A 38-32 Bethel lead at halftime quickly escalated. A circus shot from Danae Goodwin was one the few highlights.

The Lady Eagles were never in the game in the second half as they lost 81-60. OKWU falls to 15-13 overall and 11-12 in the KCAC. OKWU did clinch a spot in the conference tournament despite the loss.
