Bruin Baseball Finally Home in District Play

The weather will be better, and the Bruins are finally back in town for district play on Monday.

Bartlesville High did not get either of its baseball games in this past weekend because of the rainy and cold weather. The Bruins (6-11, 0-7) are still looking for their first district win.

The quest begins again on Monday, as Stillwater visits Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium. Monday's game will mark the first home district game for Bartlesville since March 12, when Owasso came to town.

Three of the seven district losses for BHS have come by two runs or less.

First pitch is at 6:00 PM. We will carry the Bruins and the Pioneers on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3. Pregame should begin about 5:50 PM.

Stillwater is 10-9 overall, the Pioneers are 4-4 in district play.

Game two of the series will be Tuesday night at 6:00 PM in Stillwater – that is another game we will carry on KWON.
