A 9-17 record may not be memorable, but memorable seasons could be coming for the BHS basketball team.

Bartlesville basketball put a bow on the 2017-2018 season with their end of the season banquet on Thursday night at Bruin Fieldhouse.

The banquet included awards given out by head coach Clent Stewart. Most Improved player went to Jaylin Oliver. The Hustle Award went to Tom Beard. Jake Bilger earned the Team Player Honor.

Tayo Dina was named '17-'18 Bruin MVP. Dina led BHS in points, rebounds, blocks and steals. He was named 3rd team all Frontier Valley Conference.

With a large junior class set to become seniors next year, 2018-2019 could be the best Bruin team in a while, Stewart talks about the future.

Bartlesville loses only two seniors, Andrew Gronigan and Bilger, from its regular rotation from this past season, and returns its top two scorers this coming winter.
