Bartlesville High boys’ basketball is back in action on Thursday morning, as the Bruins are still searching for win No. 1 of the 2019 season.

BHS (0-2) is playing the first of three games in Tahlequah for a tournament in the Cherokee Nation Businesses Tahlequah Invitational. Bartlesville will get the pleasure of taking on the host club at 11:30 AM.

The Bruins are coming off a heart breaking 56-54 overtime loss at Muskogee on Tuesday. Head coach Clent Stewart says it’s the small things that cost his club that game.

Bartlesville’s opponent on Thursday, Tahlequah, will likely also present a challenge. The Tigers are 2-0 and are a top-15 club in 5A. You can listen to the game Thursday morning, with pregame starting just after 11:00 on Sports Talk 1500 AM – and 99.1 FM – KPGM.
