Bruin Hoops Intrasquad on Tuesday

 

With football coming to a close on Friday for many high schools, soon attention will move to basketball full-time.

There is a quite a bit more buzz around Bartlesville High basketball this fall than in years past. The Bruins enter 2021-22 with familiar faces, new additions and higher expectations.

Point guard David Castillo will enter his sophomore campaign with numerous power 5 Division I offers. Castillo is the unanimous top-player in the state for the class of 2024 and a five-star recruit. Castillo talks about the new attention coming his way over the course of the past few months.

The Bruins will start scrimmaging this week, with a trip to Tulsa Memorial on Friday.

People in town can get their first look at the team on Tuesday evening.

The Bartlesville guys will also host their own blue vs. white scrimmage at Bruin Field House, which is open to the public. People are invited to attend the event, which runs from 5:00-6:00 PM.
