Bruin Hoops Wrap Up Regular Season

 

Both the Bartlesville High basketball teams are playing their final regular season games at Owasso on Friday evening.

The Lady Bruins and Bruins could use a win going into the postseason, which will kick off next weekend. Both teams should have a chance, as the Owasso boys and girls are under .500 this year.

The Bruin boys have played better the past week despite not having a win to show for it. BHS came within a couple possessions of beating Broken Arrow a week ago, and was within four against Union at halftime earlier this week.

Bartlesville head coach Clent Stewart says he is pleased the effort is there despite a trying season record-wise.

The Lady Bruins beat Owasso 38-37 on a shot from Kate Gronigan in the final seconds during the first matchup on Jan. 17. The Bruin guys fell to the Rams, 53-35 the same night.
