It was a fun night at Custer Stadium on Saturday, as Bartlesville High football held an alumni scrimmage and a Spring Game under the lights.

The Navy and White squared off, with a long touchdown as time expired that tied the game at 7-7 after two 20-minute halves.

Head coach Harry Wright talks about the game.

Several guys stood out.

Sophomore Nate Neal served as the full-time quarterback for both teams for most of the evening. Brett Eaves took some snaps as signal caller, as well. Neal found Jett Scully for a 9-yard touchdown for the White team.

Meanwhile the Navy squad scored as the game ended to tie it up on a 35-yard touchdown throw from Neal to Austin Zink.

It was another sophomore, PJ Wallace, who might have stood out the most. The tailback had about 30-yards rushing, an eight-yard reception and some big defensive stops. Wright talks about the guys who caught his eye,

Kaden Brown had three catches for 43 yards, as well.

About 40 Bruin football alums signed up to play a 7-on-7 flag football game that preceded the spring contest. BHS has one more week of spring ball before the offseason begins.

More on Bruin football this spring later on this week.
