Bartlesville hung in the first half, but ultimately fell big to Muskogee on Friday night.

The Bruins lost to the Roughers 71-6 at the Indian Bowl in Muskogee. BHS was behind 29-0 at halftime before Muskogee pulled away for good early in the third quarter.

Turnovers were once again an issue for BHS. Bruin quarterbacks threw five interceptions, two were returned for Muskogee touchdowns.

Bartlesville’s defense made several stands in the first half to help keep BHS in the game.

DeAndre Young ran the ball well, he had 18 carries for 86 yards.

The lone Bruin touchdown was a 62-Yard pass from Taton Hopkins to John Cone. It was Cone’s 4th score in 3 games.

Bartlesville is 1-3. BHS will next host Ponca City for homecoming
