Bruins Fall to Owasso - Cancel Game Friday

Bartlesville High baseball let an early lead slip away, as Owasso got the bats going in a 15-8 victory on Wednesday evening.

The win for the Rams gives them a sweep over BHS in the district series.

Bartlesville led 6-1 heading into the bottom of the second, when Owasso would explode for eight runs to put the game away. The Rams also had a six-spot offensively in the bottom of the fifth for insurance.

Jakob Hall, Dakota Ward, Harold Borg and Andrew Harden all tallied multiple hits in the game. Bartlesville has lost six games in a row, including its first four district contests. Calvin Johnson, Hall and Ward all hit a home run, as well. The wind played a major factor in the game.

The Bruins will get right back after it with a non-district game at Sand Springs on Thursday evening.

Friday's game that was scheduled at Jenks has been canceled. The Trojans are having to make up a district contest on that date.
