Bruins Off Friday - In Shooting Slump

UPDATE - As of Friday morning - Bartlesville's game at Booker T. on Tuesday has also been called off.

The Bruin boy's basketball team was supposed to be at home against Sapulpa on Friday, but will be no longer.

The Chieftains-Bruins game was called off on Thursday morning.

The Bartlesville’s girls have not played since Tuesday, Feb. 2 (due to weather and COVID-19), while the Bruin guys were last in action this past Saturday.

BHS nearly pulled off a great win at Union, but fell eight points short. Bartlesville is in the midst of a mini shooting slump.

Aadi Ayyapan and Jordan Carter have not had their usual three-point output the past couple weeks after being consistently great shooting beyond the arc the first two months of the year. Both were shooting a fantastic 35-percent in mid-Janurary.

Bartlesville head coach Clent Stewart says those guys have the ability to get back on track.

Bartlesville’s next scheduled game is now on Thursday at Bixby.

Bartlesville is also scheduled to host Muskogee on Friday.
