Bruins Start February with Owasso Matchup

 

Bartlesville High back in action for the first time in a week on Tuesday evening.

BHS will host Owasso for a Frontier Valley Conference girls and boys double-header.

Both BHS clubs fell on hard times in January. The combined records for the Bartlesville boys and girls was 4-18 over the last month. There are only three weeks left in the regular season, so the games with Owasso begin the sprint to the finish for BHS.

Adam Nakvinda has been in double-figures in back-to-back games for the Bruins over the past two games against Midwest City and Broken Arrow. That is the first time the Bruin’s lone senior has done that this year. Bartlesville head coach Clent Stewart says his club needs Nakvinda being aggressive.

Girls tip at 6:30 boys around 8:00 on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
