Bruins Wrap Up Successful Spring Practices

Spring football practice ended on Friday for high school clubs across Oklahoma, but that doesn’t mean that football activities stop for a lot of the area athletes.

At Bartlesville High the Bruins are getting ready for their annual trip to Stillwater for team camp starting on Wednesday. BHS had a successful nine days of practice the past two weeks during spring ball. Head coach John McKee talks about Bartlesville’s spring practices.

Ultimately BHS will be working in a new offensive coordinator, Ryan Nolan, a new defensive coordinator, Terry Reynolds, and a new quarterback this fall. Team camp could go a long way to determining who that new quarterback might be. McKee talks about the quarterback battle,

Bartlesville High will likely open up the 2017 season at McAlester on August 25, although the schedule has not been finalized.

We will have more on BHS spring practice in the coming days.
