Bartlesville High football celebrated two college commitments from two of its seniors over the weekend.

Last year’s quarterback Ben Winters, and running back Laken Clowdus, both committed to the next level. Clowdus heads to Friends University, while Winters is going to Southwestern Oklahoma State.

Jason Sport is entering his second season as head coach of the Bruin football program, and he says that getting athlete’s scholarship money to play at the next level is a huge win for Bartlesville.

In addition to Winters and Clowdus, BHS already had Taton Hopkins sign to play defensive back at Evangel University. Defensive back Cody Tate also signed to run track and field at Harding.
